It’s was a Saturday night, and a beautiful Michigan evening. It was hot earlier and the temperature cooled down comfortably.
Now you know I don’t do anything ordinary, even when it comes to S’mores. The kids were patiently waiting for our fire to die down to the perfect marshmallow cooking temperature. ( I love her smirk here, she’s such a character!) We like to experiment with different combinations. Here’s our latest list of things to pick from:
- Hershey’s Bars
- Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups
- Kit Kat Bars
- Graham Crackers
- Keebler Fudge Stripe Cookies
- Shortbread Cookies
The first one is Shortbread cookies with Reese’s Cups.
The second is Fudge Strip cookies with Hershey’s.
We have tried the Reese’s s’mores and they are so yummy! I think caramello bars would be really good too!
Caramello bars are next on my list, either those or Rolo’s would be good too! I’d like to try other things for the grahams. I would love to do ice cream cone’s but I can’t get any of those flat unless I make them myself.
Call me crazy, but I have never thought of venturing with different flavours….sooooo need to try this asap!!!

I’ve always spread peanut butter on the graham crackers but skipping that whole step and just using Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups I think is my next attempt! Great idea!

I’ve done peanutbutter cups, but you opened up a whole new world with replacing the graham cracker.
